Darn, that's what I was going to say! Awesome pictures throughout though, and really really informative. I couldn't decide where to leave a comment so I just chose the very last one on the page :)

Beautiful! ALA is my current professional association (ALCTS), so it holds a special place in my heart.

I'm especially impressed with how you organized your site--with opportunities to comment after every section.

I knew you would have a chess reference somewhere! I liked it Kyle, it's really easy to follow and the colors are friendly to my eyes. Great Job!

You had great information on awards. I did not know that there was an Odyssey award for excellence in audiobooks. What a great idea to have an award for first time authors of young adult literature with the William C. Morris award that will first be awarded in 2009.
I am going to look at the technology links you included in your project. Thanks for all the great resources.

I really liked the layout..it was great to be able to scroll down and see all the sections without going to a different page...made holding the coffee cup in one hand and surfing with the other less complicated. I truly enjoyed all the pictures....kept making me smile...your information was well organized too.

I really enjoyed learning about ALA. Reading all of the information on banned books caused me to explore the website a bit. On this page http://www.ala.org/ala/aboutala/offices/oif/bannedbooksweek/bbwlinks/reasonsbanned.cfm I found multiple references to the county where I grow up. When I was a senior in high school, some school board members decided to ban all books with any profanity. Fortunately, after much debate, the motion did not pass. Thanks for your great blog.

I love your exhibit, especially the use of pictures! I also liked finding out that membership is relatively cheap - not bad at all considering the cost enrolls you into the grandaddy of organizations. Well done!
